Anyways, with his stakeholding of nearly 30% in Aegis, Bolloré has the wherewithal to block any potential acquisition, “At these depressed levels, Bolloré may not have the funding or the will to be a catalyst in a speedy resolution…” So far, Bolloré has failed to secure two seats on Aegis'' board, he could pitch for that now with Lerwill (the main opponent) out of the way. The merger should fructify now, given that scale is of utmost importance in this industry right now. Though we may be sounding heartless, Lerwill''s exit might actually prove to be a boon for the Aegis shareholders.
